I wrote this after watching the new film "Across the Universe", which is mostly a musical using Beatles lyrics. It was very artistic and wonderful acting. It made me want to write something, so I did, and I've altered it into two states. One of which is more standard image-poetry, the other, which is here is more visual art with words. I'm not sure what the distinction is, but I'm sure it'll be apparent.
The content was brought about by the idea that doing art is not a form of resistance or awareness, so instead of protesting, I've written. Instead of following some issue I don't feel I can change or have no reason to worry about, I chose that which does matter to me.
This one is more of a jumble of words, strawberries and ink, blood and the black and white world. I'm not sure I like it more, but I think it's equally as enjoyed as my other version.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
